Anthony Hamilton : 07 28 2012

Randomly, I discovered that Anthony Hamilton was doing a show for the US ARMY which totally slipped by my radar. I’m a huge fan of Anthony’s music and live shows. Attending and photographing was a no-brainer. Coincidentally, the Robin Thicke show that was scheduled for the 28th had benn cancelled, so I was free.

I hopped in the car, and headed on out to Baltimore, and I arrived just as the opening band started their set. I soon found my way to the dressing room area where Anthony and his band was situated, which was a long walk from the stage, ugh! While with the band and staff, we laughed and joked a bit, I snapped a few candids with my new Canon 5D Mark III, and I prayed a few times. Anthony’s band and staff are a bunch of cool dudes!

Closer to showtime, we all headed over to the backstage area to get in place for showtime! Well, for me that’s in front of the stage, but I had to make it seem a little more dramatic.

Anthony’s set kicked off with the uptempo tune – “Sucka for You”, and he went through about a 10-12 song set.

After the show, we all went back to the dressing room area for some salty pizza and more laughs. Fun times with the homies!
